I took my PCAT for the first time today, I didn't really prepare too much because I plan to take it once or twice more.

This is my preliminary score report:
Verbal: SS-412 / PR -68
Bio: SS-440 / PR-95
Reading: SS-391 / PR - 34
Quantitative: SS-401 / PR -49
Chemistry: SS-418 / PR - 76
Composite: SS-412 / PR - 72

A composite score in the 70s is not too bad, its actually good. (unless you want to go into a top 10 school) in which case you need a 85+. I also took it today and did horrible in reading 🙁 it was sooooooo hard!!! If you plan on retaking it, try to do a little bit better in math and chem? I dont really see an effective way to prepare for the reading ... 🙁

Reading killed me today too, it was much harder than when I took it in September. Went down ~50 🙁

I think it depends on your GPA as well. If your cum. GPA and Science GPA around 3.7-3.8 then it's very competitive, but if GPA around 3.0 then it's just so so. If your both GPAs are above 3.5, then let be confident to apply next cycle ( may be it's too late for this cycle unless someone has GPA 4.0 and 99% PCAT). If you are sure that you can do better then you may retake it in July.

I got 76% PCAT and cum 3.9 GPA, Science 3.8 and I got 12 interview invitations, 3 acceptances so far ( I went to 3 interviews only among those 12 schools)

Yeah my cum GPA is on the lower side of the 3s, around a 3.2... but I have a science GPA closer to 3.5-3.6.

Based on those two numbers, you will be playing the waiting game at top schools, especially if you don't have a degree. But they will get you into "mid tier" schools pretty easily. Apply in August while the seats are still there.

Well I'm a junior now and I'm not applying until next year, so I'll have my Bachelor's in Biology when I apply.

You definitely have a great chance of getting into decent schools. I agree with nht800 completely. You need to play your cards right. Apply early and at the right schools. You need to look at average accepted GPAs of all pharmacy schools and make educated decisions. Your PCAT is strong, but if that was your first time you can try again. I would not recommend applying ED, just apply early to all of the schools of your choice.
