How are separate lab/lecture grades in the same class viewed by admissions?

Hello, I signed up for a separate lab and lecture for biology (3 units -2units). I was wondering if I got an A in the lecture and C in the lab for example, how do admissions view this as?

I'm just curious, do they see it as a B in the holistic sense, and the same as a combined lab/lec grade of a B?

thanks for your time

If it shows up as separate classes with separate course numbers or sections on your transcript, then they will treat it as such. I doubt they would combine it and divide by 2 as you're wishing.

i meant, how would i report my gpa during admissions. because i took physics and gchem at a quarter school, and ochem and bio at semester. since semester units are worth more than quarter, and the lecture (at semester institution) worth more than its lab counterpart

That is very strange. I've never personally encountered this or heard about someone doing this. I would imagine you just fill out what you have to on AADSAS and let them sort that one out. Do they give you options to select semester or quarter?
