I am not sure about the requirements per se but it is very HARD to get residencies in Canada. Try US mate.

I second this. You have pretty much a nil chance at getting residencies in Canada.

Hello Everyone everyone whoever is trying to get a residency in canda.

its a tough journey no doubt but its not impossible.
The steps are as follows.

1.Get hold of a valid passport and a police clearance certificate.these actually takes longer than the exams in real life.

2.apply for TOEFL for the IMGs(International Medical Graduate) whoever doesn't have english as their first language.
http://www.ets.org/toefl/ibt/about/

all the different universities have different requirements for TOEFL scores.

3.now apply for PCRC SVR. http://www.pcrc.org/en/img.shtml
it takes sometime.
so in the meantime

4.start preparing for MCCEE.the materials range from USMLE prep materials to canada question bank,to toronto notes,UW series etc.try as much to practice on the whole type of the exam itself.

5.once you have your TOEFL scores and PCRC SVR request results then apply for MCCEE,MCCQE1 & 2.
