I would like to take orgo lab with lecture this semester but that doesn't seem to be a feasible option for me. So I'm thinking about taking it over the summer. The only problem is that I am also applying to med schools this year as well.
Would it hurt my chances compared to other qualified applicants if I took my organic chemistry II lab over the summer? I'm taking my MCAT this April and applying in June. The grades for the lab will not be due until August. Would I be looked down by adcom if they are comparing my application with another applicant who has already taken the lab before applying?

no it shouldn't be a problem as long as you finish the lab before you start medical school, which you're gonna do. besides, they'll see that you know organic when you do well on your mcat.
