How bad would it be to drop calculus?(A in stats, C+ in precalc) I am not confident in my ability to take it without ruining my health.
Listen these 6 months I’ve dropped my GPA so hard because I had 0 access to healthcare since government layoffs(3 C+/Cs in a row). Now I’m finally on Medicaid getting diagnosed but is not looking good (midst of figuring out if it’s autoimmune or cancer, waiting for PET/CT scans). I finally have accommodations but I don’t think it will be enough for this class since one of my symptoms is terrible brain fog(still figuring it out).
I got a C+ in precalc because I was in severe pain and now I wonder how a W in calculus will look on my transcript. (Got an A in statistics though).
Believe it or not, I had a really nice streak of straight As before my health crumbled before me and I could not afford the note for a medical withdrawal because I didn’t even have access to my prescriptions. I’m not whining, I know I’m capable but it’s hard to focus when you’re in near constant pain, fatigued, and your brain processes things slower.
My premed advisor said it made sense for my case but I don’t know.
