how best to beef up the gpa...

thinking of going back and taking classes in another major OR
Will this work or is post-bacc masters mandatory? gavinc and others, any thoughts? thx.

Please do not get offended, but what were you doing all that time that you didnt look out for your gpa? the only way you can do that is to look for good professors that teach easy classes in your major or related courses. Maybe you should try www.professorperformance.com and check the ratings, it works for my school. Good luck

Those are all great sites... but back to the actual question... It doesn't really matter if the classes are post-bacc or just at you university in another major (as long as it's science). AADSAS will just add up all the grades together so post-bacc and undergrad will be totalled together for your GPA. Masters, however, is totalled seperately and the undergrad GPA is what schools look at, so I would suggest taking the other major or doing a post-bacc. It's ok to look for easy professors, but that doesn't mean take the easy classes! I'm sure schools like immunology better than they like nutrition classes! Even if you take a hard class, remember: Someone is going to get an A... make sure it's you! Good luck! 🙂
