I assume "airway management physician" refers to an anesthesiologist, unless CRNAs took that over as well. Would be cool to spend your Sundays on the sidelines while getting paid.

It says physician so I would assume it's an anesthesiologist but who knows in today's society where everyone is calling themselves doctors

Yea probably right but if I get to hang out on the sideline ill just hook players up to IVs for free

yes it would be great to stand on the sideline and wait for a chance to paralyze a 24 year old millionaire in front of 55,000 people

I know this B- gas/pain guy who does this. Has to stand for all the home games. Forgot to ask him what he gets paid.

One of our local peds Anesthesiologists is on the sideline for all our NFL team's home games. He was neighbors with the QB 12-15 years ago. One day they were shootin the $hit in the front yard and the QB says how the orthopod team docs keep blowing IV's at 1/2 time. Peds guy says "I'm a pediatric anesthesiologist, I can put an IV in F'ing anyone" and presto, he's on the sideline for every home game since.
