HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

We are delighted that you are interested in The Ohio State University College of
Medicine and Public Health.

Information that may be of interest to you is the Ohio State University and
Cleveland Clinic Foundation (CCF) relationship has been extended. As an
entering Med 1 student, you will be eligible for Med 3 and Med 4 full time
clinical training at CCF.

Other exciting news is the recent appointment of Leon McDougle, MD, MPH. He has
accepted the position of Assistant Dean for Diversity and Cultural Affairs in
the College of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. McDougle will provide leadership
in developing and implementing programs to recruit and prepare minority students
for careers in medicine, and will be instrumental in developing programs for
minority physicians to serve as mentors and role models for medical students,
residents and fellows. Dr. McDougle also will serve as Associate Residency
Director at the OSU Family Practice and Sports Medicine at University Hospitals
East.

There are other exciting things happening at Ohio State that we would like to

Have you recieved an interview from OSU yet? I'm out of state, but have their averages. I don't expect to be interviewed, but I don't know why I haven't been rejected yet! I just thought this was the school's way of being nice :)

Yes, I received an invitation from them back in early October and interviewed there on 10/17.
While speaking with the lady in the admissions office over the phone, she admitted that OSU was behind this year, and infact had extra interview days in November and this month.
