Hello everybody.
I am an MS3 who is currently deciding between G. Surgery and OB (I didn't have surgery clerkship yet). Location is really important for me because of the multiple family reasons.
It seems like G. Surgery is getting increasingly competitive during last years, but I keep receiving mixed messages on OB. All the spots in Illinois were filled in 2004.
Does anybody here know how competitive Chicago OBGYN programs are? I am a male with Step I 223 and pretty average grades.
Any input is very appreciated, as always. 🙂
