I'm considering applying for the MPH program at OU health science center.

I have a 2.88 cumulative gpa and plenty of volunteer ec's. My goal is to apply to a pharmD program after I finish the MPH program. Anyway, do you think I have a shot?

I saw you posing a similar question in another thread. I would contact the school directly to ask this. If you are doing it to be boost your GPA as you mentioned in that thread you may want to consider a postbac instead of an MPH unless you were strongly interested in an MPH degree. There are people that have gotten into programs with below a 3 but I can't speak for that exact program. You may want to check out the "MPH before med school" thread a few below. Good luck!

OP - I just read your other topic about your 2.47 for pharm school. I think they gave you some pretty solid advice.

I'm weary because it would have been one thing if you think that you now want to pursue an MPH and go on from there to more public health related fields. However, you say you're trying to go to pharm school after the MPH. Like JMM051 said, go read my topic about using an MPH to get into Med School. Pharmacy just like med school or any other field really, it's not going to be of much use. You will waste ~2 years that should be spent on a postbac. Especially because you're trying to make up for that GPA.
