How competitive are physician-scientist track for pathology?

I know this is pretty niche, but I'm wondering if anyone has any idea how competitive these programs are. They are only available at select top programs.

I am not an MD/PhD, but have many years of research experience (including full-time research between M3 and M4 years) and multiple first-author papers.
