+1 You should at least meet the average MCAT and GPA stats of matriculants from last year for Texas Tech (which was a 31 and a 3.7 cGPA and sGPA). Otherwise I would probably not do it.
Edit: With a 3.7 and a 33, I'd say give it a shot. Make sure this is your top choice though and that you can see yourself there for the next 4 years, because once you are accepted, you must go there. I remember one friend, who despite "acknowledging" the rules to EDP was still surprised to find out she had to go to the school since she was accepted. I said "Why are you researching other schools you're done?" and she looked at me funny as if I was speaking in a different language. 😕
