I figured I did very well (best I ever did) this semester while taking pretty decently hard classes. Was just curious how the rest of you guys did since im sure others are interested and a lot of people get the common impression that SDN is full of 4.0'ers.

Before people start bitching about if you think im bragging about doing pretty well, thats what this thread is for. You worked for it, brag about it, be proud of it.

I'll play along because it was my first post-bacc semester, and truly my first semester I gave a great effort in college. I didn't take the hardest classes, but I worked roughly 35 hours a week and was proud of the results...my first 4.0.

You're in post-bacc and just now doing general chem and bio?

(Sorry to derail thread). Congrats all.

(To continue the thread derailment) - Yes...I only had to do one science class in my previous business degree (I took Gen Chem 1) and then I worked a few years. The good thing is I have an essentially blank slate in my science GPA, the bad thing is I had to start at the beginning for my pre-reqs.

How'd you end up with a B in undergraduate research? Doesn't the sponsoring professor generally like you if they choose you to research with them?
