Hey guys,

I just took my first ever practice DAT via the Kaplan diagnostic. I really didnt know what to expect - I even had to read some directions about what we had to do for each section - especially for the PAT. Subsequently I ran out of time on all but the life sciences sections. The scores look pretty terrible but I plan to study my butt off for the next 3.5 months. Please lemme know what you guys think of these scores as a starting point and how they compared to your very first scores:

Survey Of Natural Sciences 12.30
- Biology 12
- General Chemistry 13
- Organic Chemistry 12
Reading Comprehension 17 (17 not reached)
Quantitative Reasoning 12 (7 not reached)
Perceptual Ability Test 13 (9 not reached)

Academic Average 13.43 -- I didnt reach a total of 33 questions

Thanks for your comments!!🙂

Sounds like my diagnostic test 😉. Don't worry, you just have to study hard and practice hard and your scores will jump about 10 points. It took me about a month and a half to study for the test, so 3.5 month is ample time if used efficiently. gl.

Sounds good - thanks for the feedback. For some crazy weird reason I'm actually quite excited to get into this and to track my progress. I'll keep everyone posted🙂.
