If a school asks this, and gives you 2000 characters am I supposed to use up a good amount of it??? My answer is very short and to the point. Around 300 characters

Absolutely feel free to be short and concise. They would rather have honesty and clarity rather than a drawn-out answer when what you have to say is shorter.
