I took it today. My first block went very well and lulled me into a false sense of security, but 2-7 were really BAD. So many question stems were enormous, it was hard to pick out what was important, and many questions seemed totally random. When I left the test, I didn't feel too terrible though. Only now, after going on facebook and seeing some ditzy girl from my class post a status update about how she just demolished her exam, am I feeling terrible.

I studied SOOOO much and feel like it was all for nothing. Whenever I went through a UWorld block, there were always a few a had a lot of trouble with, but the rest were relatively straightforward (I'd usually score in the low to mid 70s). Today, I had to put so much brain power into each question. And the fact that it was 7-8 hours only made everything worse. ughhhhhhhhhh

...so much for promising myself that i wouldn't think about it afterwards lol

I think most people feel like that. I felt like the test went by really quickly, and I can honestly say that the length of the passages and the lab values were not a big deal for me. I also didn't get blown away by arrow questions either. Maybe I got a totally different test than everyone else...

I think I only had ~10 test questions that had more than 4 columns of arrows, which really isn't that much for a 322 question test.

I did not feel like a failure afterward, but I did feel taxed.

They purposely intermingle the stressful questions in between several easy ones.

I felt flat. Very anti-climatic. There was so much stress and tension built up and then all of a sudden it was gone. It up to god now.

I just felt tired. Also no clue how I did! Usually after a test I will at least have a feeling one way or the other, even standardized tests like the SAT or the MCAT. I'll either feel like it went well or that I bombed it. I really didn't feel good or bad about the step, just felt tired.

walked to my car, sat down and stared out of the windshield at a convenience store across the parking lot for about 10 minutes before i realized i was back in the real world.

then i started my car and called my girlfriend.

You should have called, talked, hung up, and then started the car. It is not safe to talk on the phone and drive at the same time.

I felt the same way as you OP. One easy block and the rest i panicked and they are a blur. So depressing. I expect to fail.

Maybe he used a bluetooth earpiece?

I do use hands-free. Thanks for the advice though, I'm not sure what to make of it.

Either you're genuinely someone who never uses their phone while driving or you are someone who is way up on your horse...
