It depends.

Which speciality? The process to get into endo vs. oral path is completely different.

How connected are you? What are your credentials? All kinds of factors enter in.
 
i don't think anyone truly knows the answer to this, considering that by the time you take NBDE1 it will be a pass/fail test.

Actually it doesn't. You need to a little more specific as to what type of residency and your situation. Searching might give you some insight as most of these subjects have been covered and help you ask a more focused and relevant question.
 
what are the stats for AEGD accepted residents?
