How difficult is it to get a family med residency somewhere in the NYC area?

So, lucky me, I get to move to the New York area for my clinicals, and I presume I should be able to find a way to stay relatively closely to the city for 4th year as well.
My question is, given that FM is *generally* considered less competitive, how hard is it to match for FM in NYC?
I have a good personality and I'd say my medical abilities are eh right now, sometimes I can be pretty on the ball. My grades are fine, generally a little bit above the class average (my gpa is a 3.2). I suspect a good COMLEX and USMLE score (shooting for like 600 and 218), as I always do above class average on diagnostics and I go to a school that outperforms the rest of the states.

If you mean in the city proper, it's a bit harder. But if by NYC area, you include the closer parts of Long Island and Jersey, not hard at all. I don't think either NUMC or South Nassau's FM programs filled during Match last year.
