Hi, I have always wanted to apply to an mstp program but it's pretty discouraging how competitive it is to get into one. I was wondering if some people are willing to share some info on their gpa, mcat scores, and research activities so that I can have some idea of how difficult it is to get into an mstp program. Thanks.

This is a pretty common question. Nobody is going to tell you their exact information, however the general advice slung around the forum is that to be competitive for MSTPs you need 2 out of 3 of 3.8+ GPA, 34+ MCAT, and 2 years or more of research experience. One of these three can lag to a certain degree. If you have ALOT of research experience, it can make up for alot or get you into a top program. Publications are nice, but not necessary, even for top programs.

If you would like me to give you an idea about your situation, PM me with this info and any other salient info about you.

Good luck!
