How difficult it is for an IMG to get into a categorical GS program in DC?

I'd love to do my residency in the DC area, anyone knows how difficult it would be for an IMG to match a categorical spot in Georgetown of GWU? I scored 246 on my step 1, and I'll be taking step 2 ck and cs later this year.

Per NRMP data, during the last 3 matches (2010-12), 3 IMGs have matched in a DC program. I don't know if this includes prelims.

I 'd heard that 2 guys from Africa had matched at Howard last year, categorical, fwiw. Georgetown's and Wash Hosp Ctr's websites are free of IMGs. GW seems to have a few IMGs as PGY2s, not specified if prelims or categ.

I would not be very picky if I were you.

Even with great scores, trying to match into a categorical Gen Surg spot at one or two specific programs does not give you very good odds.

Why DC? Public policy? PLEASE apply more widely than that!
