Do schools look up or down at reapplicants? For example, would they give you a higher priority if they have seen your application before, and seen that it has improved, rather than if you are applying with those stats for the first time?

Also, I took my DAT's last year and didn't get a desirable score. I'm taking them again in October. I'm looking to send in my application this weekend. Will dental schools only see my old scores? I don't want to get rejected before they get a chance to see my new ones. How can I notify them that my new scores are on the way?

Thanks guys for any insight! I know I'm really late in the cycle. Some very unforeseen events happened but I still wanna give this cycle a try...

You can input the date for your new DAT in the application so they know you're gonna retake it

By sending out my application, will the schools automatically see my old scores?
