How do I calculate the net clinical benefit of a drug using the RR obtained in a meta-analysis?

Hi all,

I'm writing a paper in which the harms of an intervention currently supported by every guideline in the field are crazy high when compared with the potential benefit obtained. I'd like to calculate the net clinical benefit of said intervention (its really drug vs no-drug) and see if the guidelines are wrong.

Please help me.
