I am a third year medical student at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. I have a 3.5 GPA even. I also scored a 238 on step 1 of the boards this past June. The problem is that our class is very competitive and I rank 38/72. I was wondering if this class ranking will be such a roadblock to getting into ophthalmolgy.
