how do i integrate DIT with Uworld. im at a phase in my study plan where I do the 15 day DIT plan (it includes watching around 6 hours of DIT videos a day to finish it in 15 days. (roughly)

any insights would be greatly appreciated!

I'd recommend not trying to DIT compressed in 15 days unless you have already made a pass through it. I tried watching those videos and found myself spending too much time covering material I knew and not focusing enough on the material that I was weaker in. 15 days doing a solid read through FA will treat you much better, as you can spend more time with the material you do not understand.

thank you for your input! i was thinking is it a good idea to do both? watch the videos and right down the correlating FA chapters? then after each individual video section, go read it in FA?

You are better off just sticking to one resource. If you try and set as much of FA to memory as possible you will see big improvements. I like to spend time mastering one resource rather than spreading myself thin across multiple resources. To get 250+ all you really need is FA and uworld with some pathoma sprinkled in there to cover topics that are still hard to grasp. I know everyone is different, but that's my n=1.

It depends on your learning style and your current knowledge base.

If you are a visual learner who likes watching videos, DIT will be helpful at the beginning to become familiar with the FA content. However, for the next pass of your FA, I agree that you should read it instead.

My plan was to do DIT -> UWorld -> 2nd pass of FA, and it worked great for me (250+).

DIT = FA
UW+FA= Step Prep

Imo dit is better for watching casually prior to dedicated. It's just too slow. I would go ahead and jump into FA with 2 uw sections a day to start off with

I did DIT and really liked it but can't imagine trying to do the 15 day plan! I started off planning on the 24 day plan and ended up doing it in 28 days or so.

With 3.5-4 hours per day of videos, I still had time to:
--annotate First Aid with anything that was useful/new from the DIT video
--briefly review the First Aid for the same topics that the video covered
-- do a Uworld block and annotate First Aid with anything new
--go to class if necessary (Never a full day-- my school time was limited by this point-- but my DIT time started before school was over because our dedicated period is super short)
--sometimes watch a Sketchy video or two

With six hours plus of video per day, that would be tricky.
