How do I know if I have an IA?

This is going to sound so stupid, but my neurosis is getting the best of me. My freshman year I was stopped by a dorm police officer for being with my extremely drunk friend. He let us off without anything because I was in control/not wasted and just promised to get my friend back to his dorm safe and go to sleep. The only repercussion I had was having a 10 minute meeting with our hall director the following week about making good choices. My friend had to take alcohol classes at the health services and all that, but I had nothing come of it.

No on ever told me I was given an IA, I had no further contact from my University about this, and I had completely forgotten this even happened until recently. I ordered my official transcripts and there is nothing disciplinary whatsoever on there.

Tl;dr: Would I know if I had an IA? What should I do to confirm this?

To be sure, you can also just email/call your Dean of Student Life or whatever and ask if you have anything on your disciplinary record. That should put everything to rest.

While you're probably right, there is no way to know anything without checking on it. Especially from our perspectives; stranger things have happened.

oh dnt b cheeky bon. he was with a group of people who got IA and he was counseled about it. It seems worth checking into if he's worried about it
