haha i thought this was going to be a post of someone with a picture of her/himself in a suit for an interview or something...

anyways, 🙂

i know some schools dont take required courses from CC (e.g. tufts) so i would def look into that when you apply.

3.4 during sopho is overall GPA? its not a terrible gpa, but i would def work on raising it up as much as you can until graduation.

18 AA will NOT be enough, even if you have 4.0, 1) some schools have minimum DAT
scores, 2) your DAT doesnt reflect well with your high GPA, 3) you wont be "competitive" with that score.

with that said, dont let the kaplan score scare you. people usually score lower (like myself). i remember i took kaplan cold turkey and got a 9 on bio. after 2 months of (INTENSE) studying i scored 23 on the real thing. trust me, i am TERRIBLE at standardized exams... refer to the DAT forum for studying advice.

at this point, i think you're looking good.

I think you're in pretty good shape too. I just want to comment on the DAT though. I think a lot of people do really bad on their first practice DAT (I know I did), so don't worry too much. I don't really know what kind of student you are or how well you will do, but if you study well, you might be able to do really well on the DAT! Take a look at the DAT forum to get some advice on prep materials and ways to study for the test. Good luck!

thank you so much for ur comments, yea i got a measly 13 on the bio section :O so much for general knowledge! organic chemistry seemed to just crush my gpa, and i also have a withdrawal for biochem since i was taking a heavy load that semester. i question though: how do u guys go about studying/practicing for the reading comprehension section on the DAT??
