Hello, so I am starting vet school next year abroad and I was wondering if there are any of you who are also studying abroad? If so, how did you pay for it? I am completely clueless when it comes to loans. Do I just go to the bank and ask for a $200,000 loan? Or do I loan out about $50,000 every year? Also, how do I transfer such a large sum of money to the school? I'm sure I'll figure it out in time, but I'm just worried since this is a completely new experience for me.

I assume you're a US citizen? The vast majority of students get their loans through the federal government. Basically, you apply for loans and they disperse them directly to your school. You'll want to look at FAFSA and studentloans.gov. Your school has presumably dealt with international students before and their financial aid office should be able to answer your questions too 🙂
