Does anyone know if med schools view A minuses as A's since not all universities use the +/- system?

AMCAS regard A- as A-, 3.7. An A or A+ is 4.0. This was quite helpful to me as I believe more Candaian Universities give A+'s than US ones. It brought my average up a little. For Ontario, Canada, where I'm from. AN A- is 3.7, A is 3.9 and A+ is 4.0.😉
The AMCAS GPA system is standardized. An A- is an A-. Which universities don't use a +/- system?
lmao, same here, i was about to say, here comes another naive premed about to be stomped on by the SDN community. When I read the title of this thread I was gonna go berserk, but upon further analysis realized OP meant something different.
My school (Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi) doesn't use the +/- system either.

Itd be nice if Premed machine was around, those were fun times
you also know that you visit this site too often. or are old if you said "those were fun times", or if you reminisce about the past SDN days lol
They don't convert it to a +/- on AMCAS. If your transcript says "A" you get an "A" on AMCAS even if your numeric grade in the class was an 89.9%.Nor does my school. And they don't post the number grade you got in the class, either, so I'm not sure how AMCAS would know how to convert my grades to the +/- system.

nah, just that I visit this site too often. I said "old" as another tenet to which the abovesaid phrase may apply. I've also lurked around here for about a year before signing up as well.you joined on April 2006? the OP joined on September 2006
so that means you joined 6 months before him?
that and 1000+ posts make you old and experienced?
