I've been having famIly problems for quite a while now and it's really hurting my grades. In my first year at a local CC (high school dual credit) I received 3 C's (2 C's first term) and 1 f (second term). I also have a couple of A's and b's, but unfortunately my GPA is about 2.5.
Currently, I'm taking 3 classes. I have A's in two classes, but the grade for my math class is C and I'm not certain if it'd be possible to get a B or better in that class.
I'm thinking of dropping the math class. What should I do?

Just a pre-med with my own spotty past, so take that for whatever it's worth.

I think you should finish this semester, but possibly take some time off afterward. If the family issues have been going on for awhile then I think it might look better if you took some time off to either address those issues or distance yourself from them. Rather than try to proceed and continue to struggle in school. I feel like you could fix your grades and everything now and be just fine, but if you continued to struggle it would show poor judgement?

Idk, like I said, I'm a pre-med and have no real experience in these matters.
