I'm wondering how competitive I will be with my sciences and science GPA overall. The number in parenthesis is the number of credits it is worth.
Overall GPA - 3.69
2006-2007
Pre-Calculus (4) - A
Gen Bio I (4) - B
Gen Bio II (4) - B
2007-2008
Calculus I (4) - B
Gen Chem I (5) - B
Physics I (4) - B
Gen Chem II (5) - B
Physics (4) - A
2008-2009
Human Anatomy (4) - A
Organic Chem I (5) - A
Human Physiology (4) - B
Organic Chem II (3) - A
Organic Chem II Lab (1) - A
Histology (4) - A
I don't know if this is true because I can't find it on the University of Minnesota website anymore, but I thought I read that if you get an A in the second semester of something (in my case physics) that it will overwrite the B you received in the previous semester. Is there any truth to that?
