how do they monitor your gpa

Hi was wondering if they look at the gpa once you submitted your application to determine you get in or not.. or by the end of the year.

because my gpa is kinda low but I know I can bring it up by december but I'm submitting the application by august.. so will they make the decision based on the gpa on there.

what do you guys think of my chances of getting in

Bio 1- A
Bio 2-B
Chm 1-A
Chm 2-C
OrgChem I- A
(haven't taken OrgCHEM II yet)
Physics I-B
(Currently taking physics II)
Anatomy-A (I've taken survey regional Anat (should be acceptable))
I've taken Anatomy & physiology-B
Calculus-B
Stats I-A
Psychology-A

will soon take microbio & biochem *sigh* ...oh yea I was thinking of taking microbiology at a community college, do they accept lower division?

I'm not sure if this is your question, but once you get accepted, you could have all "C"s and it wouldn't matter. Most CCs don't offer biochem, but taking Micro at a CC would be fine.

Do they look at the gpa you put on the application and make their decision..what if my gpa changes after I submit my application..

If they reject me because of my gpa.. but I bring it up later on, how would they determine?

My gpa is not fine though.. How does optomcas recalculate our gpa? Will it be similar to the gpa we currently have

Go to optomcas and go to FAQs, it has a lot of info regarding how they calc gpas. I know they calculate the most recent grade if you retool a class at the same place, if you re tool it at a CC, they treat it like a separate class and average it. What is your e mail I'll send you a breakdown of someone's gpa after optomcas calculate it!
