How do we get secondaries?

I mean there's no section on the AMCAS, so is it an email we get that we fill out on the schools' website or something? An account we log into that has the questions on their website? Does AMCAS get updated with a secondary section? Thanks!

Schools will email you with a link to the secondary and you'll log into an account through which you will be able to upload updates, check your status, and schedule interviews if you are asked to interview. AMCAS is out of the picture and its all school specific at that point.

You'll get e-mails from each school with links to their secondary app websites.

This is true. Each school is different. Some have a portal system that you are given a user name and password, some just have you fill out some boxes and submit an on-line form. Each will send you an email with instructions (some detailed and some very vague).

Wait for the e-mails. You'll get them. I started a word document with all the question prompts and continued to build on them so that I could pull from one school's questions to another (assuming they fit). I wish receiving secondaries actually meant something more than getting money to the schools.
