How do you calculate your overall GPA with added science classes from a post-bac course?

My ugrad GPA should be about 3.1 so how do I figure out what the overall would be when adding in the pre-med classes? Are the science classes just a certain %? I need to take all 4 (bio, chem and physics) so I was just trying to figure out what to expect as an overall when I'm done.

You have to go by units. So, say for the four science classes, each are 4 units each semster, the total is 32 units. Say you get straight A's, and that will be 4.0 times 32 units.

With your 3.1 from undergrad, multiply that by 180 units or whatever you had.

Add those together and divide by total units (which in my example is 212 units).

What if your school doesn't deal in units? We don't have credits or units, just classes we took.

my school doesn't either (I'm studying in the UK). So I've just been guessing. I think 4 credits is 1 semester of a class (so I've just been using 8 since my classes are all year long). But I'd like to know too.

AMCAS will have to do some magical calculation for that. I mean you can apply to med school, but its up to AMCAS to decipher what those classes and grades mean. A better person to ask this would be QinQuimica, if i recall she had some course unit issues as well when she applied.
