how do you choose who to do research with?

i'm hoping to get involved w/ a good research project. maybe something w/ a well known PI. how do i find out who at my school might fit that description?

also, what's the deal w/ registry research projects. anyone know anything about how that works?

I would ask Ms2, Ms2 and Ms4s because they will probably know. I would pick the the guy that gets published the most and the fastest, and is known to help out med students.

Personally, I would much rather graduate out of med school, with 10-20 publications than cool research that take 3 years and u never get published or maybe get published after 2 years and get 4th author.

Some people like quality, I go for quantity...LOL
