Hey all,
How do you figure out whether you're missing classes in a particular required catalog or classification of classes? I had some AP credits applied towards my BS graduation a few years back and thus did not take most of the intro classes in bio, chem; however, I did take upper division classes instead. With the way the economy is going, money is pretty tight and I don't think I can afford to just go back to CC and take all the intro chem/bio classes...I figured that if I didn't have to go back to gen chem, I could maybe just take an upper div physical chemistry lab class for 3 credits instead of having to pay for 8 credits for a whole year of gen chem.
Is there a way to maybe figure out how each class is perceived by a school beforehand so I can better plan my postbac? Should I just start an app and have my transcripts verified/categorized this year even though I won't be applying this cycle? I emailed a couple of schools already but have yet to hear back from them.
