How do you guys feel about curves?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
That question was about curves not attractiveness...and ^^^^ those, gentlemen, are not curves

Sure they are, but I prefer my curves somewhat straight. I mean...you can always go for this:

or this... (lol)

Technically speaking the "hourglass" figure which is the epitome of curviness is 36-24-36. I don't think your initial girl fits the bill. But eye of the beholder right?😉

Wait, so because we had a disagreement in another thread you're gonna follow me around and find fault with everything I post?😕 And I thought I had stick up the butt disease.

I don't follow you. Im sure you posted a lot of times since that other thread. It just so happens you posted something here I thought was stupid and I responded to it.

Ok, now I don't get it. How is my saying a woman is not curvy stupid? Especially when she is clearly more on the slender side of the spectrum... And the issue is highly subjective to begin with?

I was just gonna say I love curves...but y'all beat me to it w those...beautiful....pictures

👍 you're really good at correcting yourself. How can you say a woman is not cury, if curves are subjective. Slender girls can be curvy too.

Subjective = I see what I see and if I don't see curves then I don't see curves. And we don't necessarily have to get into a big brouhaha over it because that's just my opinion which you are free to agree or disagree with without calling it stupid. Note that the person I initially disagreed with has more of a sense of humor about it than you're having.

🙂 I just saw the bolded part. No slender girls are slender... you know... slender...

haha, true, although I'd say this one's hourglass is a bit overboard. I've dated a slender 3:2:3. They do exist.... I'd post pics but I think that may be against SDN's TOS....

Is this where I say pics or it didn't happen? If she was a 3:2:3, slender (literally gracefully thin, or of small girth or breadth) is not the word I'd use. But again, subjective it be.

Wow...we have gone waaaaaay off topic.

lol...yes, I do believe that's where you'd say that.

I think this removes enough facial features to make her unidentifiable:

I'll take your word for it. But again "slender" is not the word I'd use even for her. (She's super pretty btw... And I'm a girl so I'm not perving out on your friend)

ugh that pic is huge.

Haha thanks (and good to hear).

and...yes, it is... but changing the settings in the thread makes no difference.... I edited that post and reposted the pic shrunk down a bit b/c it was HUGE.

Anyway, you're probably right. "Slender" may be the wrong word. How about "thin." She weighs like 108 and is about 5'2" with a fairly high muscle:fat ratio (professional dancer). Regardless, I definitely wouldn't call her body-type voluptuous or anything of the sort....

Voluptuous is another issue completely:laugh: Lets settle for fit. This picture gives a little bit of my idea of the spectrum...if incomplete

#1 = Thin
#2 = Curvy
#3 = Voluptuous

(How long you think before the mods shut the thread down? 😀)

Really? I would call the third one curvy at least for my standards

Oh and OP, curves are kinda annoying when you're at the top and a life saver when you're at the bottom. Perform at your best and be satisfied knowing you gave it your all.

Well... however you prefer them guys, treat them right.😉

I think you guys got a bit carried away with "curves" (the women). Let's try to get back on track with the "curves" (the grade) that OP is worried about.

Well, you gotta have some cushion for the pushin, namsayin? I need to be mirin' a woman's posterior to get it goin, namsayin?

Anyways, I prefer it when a teacher gives a reasonably difficult exam and doesn't curve, rather than giving an exam with an average of 42% and curving it. Usually the math gets messed up when a few gunners get 95+%, and those outliers skew the mean and distribution.

I'm sure this teacher would be happy to help you out with some curves, OP....

I'm mirin' some of these 9+/10s, but I'm also legit thinking "I'm 12 years old and what is this."

Whoa whoa whoa... you can't be handing out 10s like candy. A 10 is technically a "perfect" score. Even if you just round up from a 9.5 you gotta be pretty selective.

Also, in my orgo class last year there was one midterm where the average was a 51 (carbonyl reactions and mechanisms), and the highest grade was a 100. As a result, there was no curve. Curves are good when there aren't geniuses in your classes.
