How do you organize housing for away rotations?

(Asking for a friend) Is there a good place on this website or another where my friend could find housing/try to sublet his place out during an away rotation? The only place I can think of would be craigslist but that doesn't seem very targeted.

I wasn't too impressed by rotatingroom.com since it's really hard to find something that exactly matches the dates you need. Try airbnb.com. It's the way to go.

Find a landlord on craigslist that accepts short term leases. Those were cheaper for me, although the disadvantage is that you may have to go through a background check and find your own furniture.

Email the program. Some of them have a setup where you can rent a room from a different med student on an away rotation. My school does this.

I didn't have any issues at all with rotatingroom.com for my two aways

I get no response on rotating room. Airbnb was fantastic for me.
