How do you plan on spending the next several months until beginning dental school?

Congrats to everyone who has gotten acceptances! Just wondering what everyone's plans are like until we start next fall. Personally, I have 94 days left of work and I'm starting my anatomy course next week. Also just booked my plane ticket to head over to where I'll be living to start scoping out housing during spring break. I just want it to be August! It feels like time is going by so slowly though. I let my principal (I'm a high school teacher) that I'll be resigning come June, but I would sell my soul to leave earlier. I'm just soooooo done with teaching and so ready to begin dentistry.

Yep. It's online through UNE. I wish I could do an in person class, but it's near impossible since I live in the middle of no where and usually end up working late.

There have been a bunch of books I've been meaning to read but never got around to it. Just finished Tropic of Cancer by miller and now gonna move on to atlas shrugged by rand. I'm also planning to go out a lot and travel 😉

Look into Texas Tech as well for the online anatomy. Its pretty cheap

I have similar plans.. I'll be taking lab that will start next week and I'm working full time. Also I'm looking into tickets to travel somewhere by end of May. Finish reading my books, I can't wait for August 🙂

Very cool. My teaching certifications are actually in biology and chemistry, so I'm jealous. Earth space can get really boring to me at times lol

Hahaha gotta love it. It seems that every day before a long weekend or major holiday, I get one of my "random" walk throughs the last 30 minutes of the day. Guess who got a "random" walk through the last 20 minutes of the day by her principal? Guess who got "developing" on one section because 3 of my freshmen boys were talking off-topic while completing their workbook pages?

June cannot come fast enough.

Unfortunately I have to take Biochem 2, immunology and A&P 2 next semester because Baylor "recommended it." So i'm stuck in school post graduation. I'll make sure to enjoy my summer though. I'll turn 21 in May so Vegas here I come!

Haha there will be at least two of us who were teachers at Midwestern then! And man, I wish my school was relaxed. I already had to get my union involved over the most ridiculous thing

I've got visited twice by the vice principal and boy that was fun lol... They discount union crap from my paycheck and I dont even know if the union helps... I teach for a pretty wealthy school and our parents try to micro manage everything. God forbid their precious son or daughter is failing because they haven't turned in a single assignment all quarter. And then my administrators tell me to pass them anyway because it affects graduation rates... Don't get me wrong, there are some great aspects of my school, like the amount of funding we have for sports and arts/music, but some days I leave and I'm like WTF AM I DOING WITH MY LIFE HELP hahaha

Lolol! I've been playing Runescape lately too! Although I decided to get off the computer and train to become a certified yoga instructor, practice jiu-jitsu, and take cooking classes while I wait for dental school since I started botting.. shh. :X I might just head on over to an MMA gym to train since Groupon gives some pretty sweet deals.
