Hi all,I applied last yr to med school (34R/ 3.6 from UC Berkeley) and didnt get into any school. I was wondering how did any of you go about seeking feedback from you the schools that you got rejected at. Most of the schools I applied to(I think all) said that they wont provide me with feedback in regards to my app, as well as didnt provide me with any contact info. As for seeking advise from my career center, I think that will be essentially useless (I was told that I would be a strong applicant, cough cough). I applied to about 30 schools in all with most having avg stats that were below or around my range(UCLA and UCSD being the only exceptions, but they were in Socal, so I decided to give it a shot).

I think your problem in last cycle was that you applied so late. By the time your application was complete, secondary and all, most medical schools had already filled their classes and were starting to think about filling the wait list.

If there is one thing that I have learned here at SDN: APPLY EARLY!
