I can never get work done when I'm at home butI know that needs to change, especially since we won't be able to study at our usual spots on campus.

What are some study habits that worked for you when working at home? Any successful converts? (from only able to study in libraries to being able to do it all from home?)

I sectioned off an area where I only study. I used a fluffy chair but you could also use a desk if you think that would help you to develop that association between "Sit here = work now". I also set well-defined work hours.

well, i sort of "sneak" the study in: for example, i do anki when i take my dog for a walk 3 times a day (i do them on my phone). this way i go through 400-500 review cards, and about 150-200 new cards a day. Sometimes i do them in my bathtub.
In the morning i wake up, change into day clothes, put on makeup and jewelry (i noticed that changing into something a bit nicer than a t-shirt makes me feel more "put together" and focused, sort of), make my pot of coffee, and while i am having my morning coffee i watch 3-4 sketchy videos. After that, i check my email, write stuff, work on my projects. Every hour or so i take a break and do a chore (this way i never really spend time doing chores). After 3-4 hours of working on the computer i usually get tired, and go for a long walk with my dog. During the walk to go through all the anki cards from the sketchy videos that i watch that day, then review old cards. In the afternoon i sit down, make a snack, and while eating that snack, watch 2-3 hours of videos (pathoma, or BB, or house lectures if it school time). During the breaks i play chess online to distract my brains. Around 5 i take a break for another walk. continue with anki reviews during the walk (if i am done with anki, i might watch a video or two on B&B 1.5 speed - something ive seen a while ago and need to review. After dinner i do through 20-50 questions (Uworld or AMBOSS). After the questions i watch TV for about an hour while knitting, or play a video game for half an hour. Basically, do something for myself. I dont review the topics from the questions that same day, because it is usually late. I review the topics i missed the next morning after i wake up. And in this case, i might just skip sketchy videos if there is too much to review.

BTW when i watch anything at all, - sketchy, pathoma, or bb, - i always have first aid open, and write the notes into it.

Damn, I thought my daily Zanki reviews were enough lol

oh, i have to do so many now, because i was slacking the first year, and didnt do them pretty much at all. Plus i use anki in a weird way - i dont use them to learn new material, i use them for review and to solidify it. So, i go through a much greater number than those who use them as a learning tool. It is not a better or worse way, it is just a different strategy that i found works for me better.

This....plus an imperial ton of coffee.

I have a set schedule. I study from 9 until 3:30 or 4. Then I have family time until the kiddos go to bed. After that, anything I still need to do for the day that I can’t reasonably push off until the next day, I will do then. I also try to spend that time with my wife.

same, it’s been barely 3 weeks but so far I have been able to sit on my desk at 8 am, and be done by 5 pm with a short lunch break about noon. Rest of the evening I spend with my kids and wife. I’m hoping to continue with this routine through preclinical...

That's reassuring. and youve been able to keep up with your reviews and find time for other things.

Iv been out of school for so long im a bit worried about adjusting/how to study. And you have found time to do projects and such?

Yes. I have two projects I developed from the ground up and I’m helping write a textbook chapter. I also started an interest group and took one over and into a new direction. You just have to be organized.
