I got a C+ grade in my Gen Chem 2 class. My other classes are A's and B's. My GPA with the C+ grade should be around 3.4-3.5. Should I retake this class?
Thank You

What's you sGPA?

It's going to be possibly 3.3-3.4 and I removed Precalculus because I am going to retake it because I feel confident that I should do well in it but I don't want to go through chem 2 again unless I should

What year are you in? Don't retake a class if you are in your first year. Try to do well in the rest of your courses, and consider retaking courses further down the road.

Fourth year, I took this course a couple of years ago

I guess it's really just a personal choice. Retaking the course is unlikely to boost your GPA by much but at the same time it is a pre-requisite. Personally, I did have a C+ in my orgo 2 and was never questioned about it during interview (A's in all other science pre-reqs).

Don't retake it. It makes very little difference at 3.4+ level. Focus on the MCAT.

Agree with others that one C+ won't hurt you in and of itself with a 3.4-3.5 GPA. Your chances, assuming average ECs, really just depend on your MCAT.
