I have no idea how the health care in Australia works other than the fact it seems to be a two tiered type structure.
The only other national health care providers i'm familiar with is the Canadian medicare system...and the British NHS (which the Canadian one is based off of, but the British one seems to be much more comprehensive)
For patient care, what is the difference a patient sees between the Australian and the other two I listed above.
How is it funded, and how do the privatized and public systems co-exist?
And from the standpoint of Health care staff, how is it run? There are things like medicare numbers, it seems the government doesn't regulate the prices of services, etc.
