Hi, I am a New Zealand citizen currently in medical school in Ireland. I plan to complete my intern year in either Ireland or the UK to make it easier to return to New Zealand or Australia and gain general registration. Following general registration, what are my chances of getting accepted onto a training scheme? I would prefer to train in Australia rather than New Zealand, but I just wanted to know the process in both countries and what would be the easier option for me. Thanks.
