hi all,
i started out my college career in a bad way. at the end of my second year i had a 2.9x gpa with a few c's and an f. i just never went to class, and the class i did get an f in was due to an attendance rule (actually the TA was pretty shady...i had already "failed" the class by the 4th week and could have dropped it without a W!!!! but the TA didnt really notify me of my status until i went to office hours at the end of the class...but w/e i'm over it)
anyways fast forward 2 more years and i'm sitting on a 3.5 with one more set of classes before graduation. my back half, including summer school is a little over 4.0 (including A+'s). i am in a challenging major at one of the top 2 UC schools (lets say bme, neuro or microbio) so many of my upper division courses are A or A+, while absolutely none of my pre-req courses are even A- except for orgo 2.
are the schools going to look down on me because i had a rough start or will my improvement later on show them that i've matured?
my AA for DAT is in the mid 90's percentile
