I have been confused about this for awhile. How do step 2 CS scores and your eras application work??
Say you take step 2 in August and submit your application in September around when the score comes back - is it automatically seen by the programs you applied to? Can you elect to NOT submit your score even though you've taken it? Some people have told me to NOT take step 2 "early" since I have a decent step 1 score - when would I take it then, to ensure it was not seen by programs in case it was lower? And the opposite, if I wanted step 2 scores to be seen by programs AND wanted to apply early (is that september??), when would I take step 2?
