I just watched AnKing's review and he talked about University of Utah makes there last module (GI) P/F before step 1 and thought it was interesting and reached out to my school abt doing something similar and they said might consider implementing something similar if I were to provide more examples. I was wondering if SDNers from traditional schools with grades could potentially provide me w some examples? Cheers!

My school did the exact opposite -- 2 week block w/ mandatory attendance to review all the "high yield" diseases + Q&A sessions with patients with the diseases.
Luckily the pandemic got rid of the mandatory attendance requirement.

My school does the same, but it's like a month and I don't recall if attendance is mandatory.

Did not "ease," the pace remained the same, or possibly got slightly faster. Our path/pharm/micro shifted more towards best steps of treatment/plans and OMM became more complex. There was still time to fit in board studying.

We learned all of endocrine/reproduction for the first time the month before dedicated

Lmao, my school increases our in-person requirements "to prepare."

My school caps off second year and starts dedicated with a comprehensive final exam lol

Hardest class of preclerkship by FAR was our last block before boards

It's the opposite for us

Our school's lectures have an internal reputation for being bad for board prep but at least they got that part right
