How does your school waste your time?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Mental health and wellness are suffering in med school because the majority of med students are whiny, self absorbed asshats that have always gotten their way and can't handle things actually being difficult for once.

You think I don't like OMM, inter professional education classes, and "How to succeed in residency" talks because they are difficult?

I just went back and checked several weeks of our MS1 schedule. We were scheduled ~25 hours of required attendance a week, but usually not much less. MS2 has been somewhat better, because we're finished with our year of anatomy. Still, we average around 20 hours of required attendance a week. We do get to skip 20 percent of our morning classes, but they're not really skips as they expect us to "save" those for emergencies, like medical appointments. I'm thankful for the chance to be a doctor, don't get me wrong...but they do like their rules.

The biggest time waste in my school are those boring and assignments and projects which I always avoid doing 😛
