So I am a reapplicant and in the middle of changing my essay. I added a paragraph in it but the overall theme and the other four paragraphs are slightly the same. Should I take one paragraph out and add in what I have changed from the last time I applied? I have obtained 2 new jobs relating to medicine but thats about it. Oh, and a boosted MCAT score but not sure if I should add that in it.

From what I am reading here, I should def change the essay, but the overall essay explain why I picked medicine in the first place as a non-trad and I do not want to steer away from that entirely.

I always like to think that as a reapplicant you are adding more information to the schools you are applying to again. I would not put a single sentence that is written the same way, but it is definitely okay to portray the same idea. In my PS, I had two major pt-me encounters, I changed them and added new ones I encountered in my gap year. You can write different encounters you had with medicine, but your initial motivation to pursue medicine should not be changed.
