I'm looking to have it all done by the end of June, but it sounds like a lot of people have already submitted it. Is there really a difference between sending it in this week and sending it in 2 weeks later?

No, you'll be fine. By the end of June is still very early.

My premed. advisor stated that all April MCAT students shoudl have their applications submitted no later than the first week in July...August MCAT testakers, no later than the first week of August..

so, vn2004, you look like you're on the right track!

I took the April MCAT and did horribly (22P) but am planning on retaking it in August. I am going to submit my application and indicate that I am retaking it in August. Will they wait to make the interview decision until they get my August MCAT scores or just not even bother due to my April MCAT? The rest of my application is pretty good. Thanks.

They won't even look at your app until it is officially complete. If you indicated you are taking August, your app will not be complete until those scores are in. Remember... secondaries come before interviews, so account for that in your time-frame.

So you are saying that if I submit the application now, AMCAS will not actually send it until it has my August MCAT scores? Also, so the med schools will wait until mid October (when they get the August MCAT scores) until they notify me of an interview?? Can I submit the secondaries before the MCAT scores come in? Now I'm confused.
