How exactly does AAMC grading scale work?

I'm a non traditional student trying to take classes at two schools to fulfill prerequisite requirements. One school only gives an A if you have a grade above 93%, and the other gives an A when your grade is 85% or higher. When I apply for med schools how would these grades from different schools be converted?

AMCAS just sees A in this case. Your transcript doesn't say "A:86%" or whatever. It just says "A".

You can always look at your unofficial transcript to look and check just in case, but I can't imagine many schools use the numerical system rather than ABCDF.
